I found a square watermelon at the supermarket. It cost about $120. I asked why it cost so much and the worker lady siad it was very hard to grow and you dont eat it but you look at it. Also, here is a pic of my Japanese Teachers, more bus ride, and a great sign about being mindful of your ciggarettes.

David-
I love the square watermelon; I stared at it for about 5 minutes. It seems pretty ridiculous, but it's fascinating nonetheless.
Hope all is well,
Isabel
Titteringtonさん,
Through random facebook procrastination, I have stumbled upon your travel blog. I'm quite excited that you find yourself in the ninth state, as it were. I'm also overjoyed at the square melon. It, along with a bug the size of my hand, is one of my most vivid memories of my time at Kyudai. I'll make sure to let you know if I head back to Fukuoka any time soon because going to Japan is definitely more amusing than sitting in Connecticut and looking at slides of it.
